CARBINE 1

You bought your first carbine, the most common of the AR platform of firearms. So what’s the next move on your journey towards safety and proficiency with a carbine? Probably our Carbine 1 course.

The class is designed to be the first step in your educational adventure. It is all about the basics, handling, shooting fundamentals, and familiarity with your carbine. When you complete this course, you will have a rock-solid foundation for defensive, sporting, and all other uses of your carbine.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT CARBINE 1

If you are new to semi-automatic rifles, or need to refresh your skills, Carbine 1 is the class for you! Build your foundation for safety and knowledge about your carbine firearm with this eight-hour “hands-on” shooting course.

After taking Carbine 1, you will know the components and function of your rifle and have a solid foundation of fundamental shooting skills. This includes: zeroing, grip, stance, recoil management, and much more.

Carbine 1 is a shooting class that meets on-range, with lecture & demonstration throughout the day.

Class is held from 9 am – 5 pm. It will be either at the White City Shooting Range or Ashland Gun Club. Please reach out if you have any questions. We hope to see you out there!

What to Bring

Appropriate range attire
Ear and eye protection
Semi automatic rifle, ready for use
3 Magazines minimum (10+ round capacity)
250 Rounds of ammunition
Sling and the ability to carry 2 spare magazines
Gloves (not required)
Notepad and pen
Lunch, snacks, hydration
